A little guidance.
Every connection covered.
Create your first code, get it working and manage it with confidence.
Create your first QR code
From a destination link to a saved code.
- Open Qrio and select Sign in. For a new account, enter your email and a password of at least 12 characters, select Create account, then confirm your email before signing in.
- Select + Create QR code. Enter a Code name and the full Destination URL, beginning with https:// or http://. Add an optional Client name to group related codes.
- Select Save QR code ↗, read the terms, tick the agreement checkbox and select Agree and continue.
- Your code is saved. Use View QR to preview it or Download SVG to save it. Follow the leasing guide below to activate public scans.
Creating and downloading a code is free. A saved code needs an active lease or eligible trial before it redirects visitors.
Back to guides ↑Activate a lease or free trial
Choose monthly or annual billing.
- Open QR codes, find your code and select Subscribe.
- Choose Billing frequency: monthly (£1.99 including VAT) or annual (£22.92 including VAT). Annual billing covers 12 months and saves 4% against the annualised monthly price.
- If offered, keep the 7-day free trial option selected to try the lease first. A card is required. Trial eligibility is checked across accounts for the same or similar destinations.
- Read the subscription details and terms, tick the required agreements, then select Agree and continue to payment.
- At Stripe checkout, review the total and renewal details. To use a voucher, select Add promotion code and enter a valid code. Eligible international customers may be offered local-currency payment.
- Complete checkout and return to Qrio. Select Refresh payment on your code to confirm its subscription status. Use View QR and scan it with your phone to check the destination.
Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel through Manage subscription before a trial ends to avoid its first payment. See international payment details for currency conversion and refunds.
Back to guides ↑View, download and print a code
Available for active and inactive orders.
- Open QR codes and find the code. Select Archived if you need an archived order.
- Select View QR to see the image, its Qrio link and whether scans are active. Select Download SVG from the row or preview to save the image.
- Place the SVG in your design. Keep its clear margin, strong contrast and square proportions. Before printing a batch, test a sample at its intended size with a phone camera.
Downloading does not activate a lease. Inactive codes can still be downloaded, but scans show Qrio’s inactive notice until redirect access is restored.
Back to guides ↑Change a destination or code details
Keep the same printed QR code.
- In QR codes, find the code and select Edit. If it is archived, restore it first.
- Change the Destination URL, Code name or Client as needed. Use an HTTP or HTTPS address without embedded login details; another Qrio redirect cannot be used as the destination.
- Select Save QR code ↗. The existing Qrio link and QR image stay the same. Scan your printed code to check the new destination when its lease is active.
Editing a destination does not start a new free trial or change the subscription. Trial eligibility checks still apply.
Back to guides ↑Pause, resume, archive or restore
Control scan access and organise your library.
- To temporarily stop redirects, select Pause beside the code. Select Resume when you want it to work again.
- To move a code out of your usual list, select Archive and confirm. Its scans will show the inactive notice.
- To bring it back, select the Archived filter and then Restore. Choose All codes to find it again. If it was paused, also select Resume.
- Check that the code has an active lease. Restoring or resuming a code cannot reactivate a cancelled or expired subscription.
Pause and Archive do not cancel billing. To stop subscription charges, follow the cancellation guide. These actions can also affect eligibility for the 4:1 free-code offer.
Back to guides ↑Manage billing, cancel and check refunds
Use the subscription attached to the correct code.
- Open Leases, find the code and select Manage subscription to open Stripe’s customer portal.
- Use the available portal options to review billing information, update payment details or cancel the subscription. Review the cancellation information before confirming.
- Return to Qrio and select Refresh payment. Cancellation stops public redirects immediately. The code remains available to view and download.
- Check the subscription label for refund progress. If it says refund needs support, contact info@silvaforest.solutions with the code name and relevant receipt reference. Do not send card details.
Eligible unused paid time is refunded pro rata. For annual cancellation before month 12 starts, time used is charged at the standard monthly rate when calculating the refund, removing the annual discount on that time. During month 12, the discounted annual rate applies. Statutory rights and company-cancellation provisions remain as described in the terms.
Back to guides ↑Use the fifth-code-free offer
Four qualifying paid, active codes unlock one free offer lease.
- Check the offer allowance on Overview, QR codes or Leases. Trials do not qualify. Eight qualifying paid codes can support two free offer codes, and twelve can support three.
- Create or choose an eligible additional code. When allowance is available, select Activate 4:1 offer. Existing paid subscriptions do not automatically become free.
- Read the offer details and charging authorisation, tick the agreement and select Agree and continue to Stripe. Complete the card-backed checkout.
- Keep the qualifying codes active and paid. If eligibility drops, restore the qualifying state within the 24-hour grace period to avoid the offer code becoming chargeable.
After 24 hours without eligibility, the offer code becomes chargeable at £1.99/month. Regaining eligibility can restore the discount for future renewals. This offer uses monthly billing and cannot be combined with a trial or voucher. Read the full offer conditions.
Back to guides ↑Find codes and organise clients
Use the workspace views and export a record.
- Use Overview for a summary and your five most recent non-archived codes. Open QR codes for the full library.
- Search by code name, client or destination, or use the Leased, Unleased, Expired and Archived filters. Use All codes to see non-archived codes, including paused ones.
- Add a consistent Client name when creating or editing codes. Open Clients, then View QR codes → to view that group. Client labels organise your own workspace; they do not grant another person access.
- Select Export CSV for a list of your stored codes, including archived records. The export covers your library rather than just the current filtered view. Use Stripe receipts for billing records.
Use Leases for subscription history. Archived subscriptions are found using the Archived filter there too.
Back to guides ↑Code not redirecting?
Check that it is not paused or archived, then check its lease or trial and select Refresh payment. If the offer shows payment required, open Manage subscription. Test the destination URL directly to confirm the destination website works.
